A record-breaking total of 96 games were played over the two Saturdays, showcasing the growth of girls' football on the Isle of Wight.

An IW Girls League spokesperson said: "We are really proud of these tournaments and hopeful that we can continue to not only grow these events but over time add additional clubs, players and coaches.

"We are always interested to hear from anyone who would like to get involved."
