Wight Eagles FC has announced the appointment of Dan Verstraeten as manager of the Ladies First Team.
Ellena Boakes has stepped down after two years in the role, during which time she secured two promotions as player-manager.
The decision comes as the team prepares to enter their fourth season in Division 2 of the Hampshire Women's Football League.
Boakes said: "It’s been such a pleasure to manage the ladies and play alongside them, they have gave me everything but I want to concentrate on playing to help the club achieve the best it can."
Verstraeten steps into the role after managing the academy for the last four years.
He will continue to serve as head of youth, ensuring a consistent link between the youth and senior teams.
Verstraeten said: "It’s a massive honour to manage the ladies. I'm really excited to coach such a talented group of ladies with the help of Isle of Wight ladies manager Richie Mumford.
"We're going out to build on what Ellena has started and make this club the biggest and best there is."
The team will face Shanklin Ladies in a friendly on Thursday before their season kicks off on Sunday at Beatrice Avenue.
