Edward Kennett, former Great Britain international, leads the field in the upcoming NORA Freelance Installations British 500cc Upright Championships at the Smallbrook stadium.
The exciting event, taking place this week on Thursday, follows the recent NORA 500cc British Championships.
The championship will comprise over 25 high-octane races between 16 riders in the Uprights event and five in the Woman's Championship.
Lauded rider Edward Kennett, from Hailsham in East Sussex, is the current title holder, having begun his racing career in 2001 and previously claiming the British Under-21 Champion title.
In 2022, despite an injury, Kennett rode for the Plymouth Gladiators in the SGB Championship.
Another notable contender is Nigel Flatman, known for his impressive career and recent return to the speedway at age 60.
Ben Phillips, the promising racer from Worcestershire, and overseas contenders Trevor Williams and Dean Felton, from Australia and Wolverhampton respectively, add to the line-up of distinguished participants.
The Woman’s Championship will see the twice champions Katie Gordon vying for the title against promising challengers Steph Whitlock, Annastasia Sallee, Tia Brant and Rachel Hallowell.
Starting at 6.15pm with junior racing, the main event promises another thrilling night of speedway action from 7pm onwards.
