The Isle of Wight Motorcycle Club's annual awards were handed out in a ceremony at The Bargeman’s Rest pub in Newport.

Special trophies and accolades for the 2023 winter and summer series were presented by Trevor Strickland, who is among the landowners to allow the club to stage its trials.

Among a host of winners were, for the Winter Series 2023, Tom Richards, who won the expert award, Adam Morgan, who was intermediate winner and Simon Newnham, in the over 50 event.

Tom Moss was overall winner for the Two Day Trial.

There were awards for Kate Baker and Leighanne Baker, who were best female observers and for male observer, Steve Kent.

The Matt Russell Cup went to Adam Morgan, while John Coombes lifted the Nigel Crouch True Spirit Award.

The Nigel Crouch Memorial Cup went to Simon Strickland, Leo Death was most improved youth rider and youth clubman of the year was Riley Baker.

Clubman of the Year was John Coombes.
