Two young bowls players caused a storm, at the Isle of Wight Indoor Bowls Club on Saturday March 16, at the first Open Bowls Tournament finals.
The competition was for pairings that had lost games to a seeded team.
Brothers Jude Beaman, 18 and Max Beaman, 15, proved to be emerging Isle of Wight talents, winning the event with an impressive display of bowls and tactics.
Meanwhile, the main event's grand final will be on March 27, at 10am.
Defending champions, Martyn Butchers and Darren Griffith, take on Anne Bernard and Ron LeLeux.
All four players have previously won national competitions.
