AS THE football season approaches the business end East Cowes Vics will be desperate to cement their place in the Wessex League Division 1 play-offs as soon as possible, starting with a game at Folland Sports tonight (Wednesday).

Vics, who lie in fifth, made easy work of struggling Aldermaston on Saturday, with Ji Nash bagging a treble.

But Folland Sports will be no pushovers on their own turf, despite their 15th place position, having been in the running for promotion the past two seasons.
