Isle of Wight powerlifter, Zoltan Mihalyi, has lifted a new trophy - and an impressive 735 kilogrammes (nearly 116 stone) over three separate events.
The current world champion travelled to Warwick on March 2, for the A/BPU British championship, winning his class.
He recorded 275kg (43 stone) in the squat, 185kg (20 stone) in the bench press and a 275 kg deadlift.
It was 22.5kg more than he managed in the world competition, in October.
Zoltan said: "This is my first year in this federation. Everything was so alien to me.
"I’m trying to collect all the big Powerlifting Federation’s world titles.
"With this win, I gained entry to the British competition in July, in Manchester."
Zoltan's success came despite a back injury that almost saw him cancel his plans to take part.
He has thanked Dr Abi, from the RMA Sports Injury Clinic, his coach Zsuzsa and Bonchurch Vectis weightlifting club, for their support.
