Just 12 minutes in, John McKie won an early goal for The Yachtsmen, with an equaliser in the 20th minute from the visitors.
In a game of cat and mouse, Hamble took the lead just quarter of an hour later but, within a minute, John McKie equalised, for a 2-2 scoreline.
Shortly before the break, and 15 minutes added for stoppage time, the prolific player just missed out on a hat trick.
In the second half, and the 55th minute, a controversial goal saw Hamble go one up again.
Out for revenge, John McKie found the net in the 77th minute, to equalise, 3-3.
The final goal of this action-packed match was a John McKie set up for Connor Kelly, in the 82nd minute, to the delight of the 150 people in the crowd at the Islanders' home ground.
On Tuesday, Cowes Sports are away to Bournemouth, at Victoria Park, at 7.45pm.
The Westwood Park side sits in fifth, with 45 points.
Their Dorset opponents are 16th, with just 20 points.
