Cowes Sports vs Whitecroft and Barton Sports
Cowes Sports and W&B meet at Westwood Park in the Isle of Wight Gold Cup quarter-finals this evening.
The Wessex League Premier Division side’s last outing, on Saturday (February 17), saw them return from Christchurch empty-handed after a 2-1 loss, which saw the Islanders battle right to the very end.
Meanwhile, W&B have not been in action since February 3, when they hosted Bembridge in a 1-0 win.
Elsewhere in the IW Gold Cup – and all at later dates - East Cowes Vics will face Brading Town or Bembridge, Newport will host Vectis and Binstead & COB will take on Shanklin.
Kick-off at Westwood Park is at 7.30pm
Clanfield vs East Cowes Vics
In league action, East Cowes Vics travel to Clanfield in Wessex League Division One.
Clanfield, who sit in eighth place, put six past ninth-place Fawley in a 6-1 home win on Saturday.
Vics travelled to strugglers AFC Aldermaston and returned home in a play-off spot (fifth) following a 3-1 win in Berkshire.
The Islanders will be keeping an eye on the score at Fleetlands, who face Totton & Eling and sit two points – and two places – behind Vics.
Meanwhile, Vics’ other play-off rivals, Cove – directly below Vics in Division One – are not in action again until Saturday (February 24).
Clanfield can move to within six points of Vics if they secure all three points this evening.
Kick-off at Westleigh Park is at 7.30pm.
