The fourth round of the Wight Tri winter duathlon took place on Sunday, January 14.
Starting at East Cowes Esplanade, a total of 18 club members battled it out in chilly conditions.
Each run was either 4.2km or 2.2km. Those on a bike cycled either 10, 20 or 30km laps to the Racecourse roundabout and back.
The fastest male and females over the long course (4.2km run, 30km cycle and 4.2km run) were Sean Williams (1.29.59) and Janet Fletcher (1.46.35).
There were three members within 20 seconds on nominated time, the measure the Wight Tri series champion is awarded.
Daron Perkins came first, finishing 18 seconds out from his nominated time.
In joint second place was Sally Neumann, who finished just 19 seconds out.
Liz Dunlop, of Wight Tri, said: "Thanks to all who took part and Neil Cooper, Steve Dines, Annette Hickman and Claire Squirrel for helping with setup, marshalling and timekeeping."
The next event in the series will be on Sunday, February 25.
A venue is yet to be decided.
The event is for club members only, but however membership is currently £5 up to April 2024.
