Full time: Verwood Town 3 v 1 East Cowes Vics

Away to Verwood Town, the scoreline was the same but this time it wasn't in East Cowes Vics' favour.

Earlier this season, Vics secured a narrow 1-0 win against Verwood.

Unfortunately, it didn't go their way today (Saturday), at Potterne Park.

Calling it a 'bad day at the office', by half time Verwood were already 2-0 up against Vics.

Things went from bad to worse in the second half with Verwood making it 3-0, before Vics' consolation goal.

In the end, the visitors weren't able to match their hosts in time for the final whistle.

Full time: Newport 1 v 1 Cove

At Beatrice Avenue, with a crowd of just under 120, there was a minute of applause in memory of 'faithful', Glen Stoddart, who was described as 'a massive part' of Newport FC and 'the voice cheering from the stands, the laughter on our away trips'.

Today, The Port welcomed play-off hopefuls Cove to their temporary East Cowes home.

Just 11 minutes in, Jordan Browne scored for the Islanders.

An equaliser came in the 82nd minute, denying Newport FC the full three points.
