ARRANGEMENTS for next year's Ryde Rowing Club Regatta at Appley Beach in Ryde have been announced.
The popular annual event will take place on Saturday, June 8, with an approximate start time of 11am, subject to entry numbers registering on the day.
The 2024 regatta will be run from Appley Beach, near the Ryde Rowing Club's Appley Park clubhouse, with the course starting at the eastern end of Ryde Canoe Lake and heading out at an angle for around 900m towards the end of Ryde Pier.
From there, competitors will have a buoy turn, with a return to the start.
The course is to the east of the Ryde harbour approach channel and does not interfere with this, or Hovertravel's manoeuvring area for hovercraft.
Additional information and a regatta programme will be provided closer to the day.
