MORE than 60 ladies battled the heat at Ryde Golf Club to win an Isa Ballard Rose Bowl Trophy.
Viv Tomlinson and Sally Hardy from Westridge bagged silverware with 40 points on count back, besting Ryde’s Tricia Warner and Jo Rowley.
Liz Morris and Sue Thompson of Freshwater Bay came third with 36 points, and fourth place on count back went to Lyn Brown and Jenny Tracey of Ryde.
The prizes and trophies were presented in the club house by captain Joan Martin and president Lynne Maidment.
Prizes were handed out, both for the best morning and best afternoon scores.
