For the first team, Marriott was named player of the year, Sam Rees took home the award for forward of the year, and Marriott also picked up the prize for back of the year.

Hugo Jolliffe was recognised as the most improved player of the year, and King the best tackler of the year.

Young player of the year went to Sam Thomas, Rees was the veteran player of the year, and the mentor of the year award went to Tony Eyeles.

Club director, Damien Marriott, said: "Congratulations to all the players who picked up awards.

“Special mention to Sam Rees, and Connor King, who both won two awards each, however, the real winner of the evening was Tom Marriott, who won three awards in his debut season for the club.

“Tom has made a huge contribution and that is reflected in the awards.

“Hugo Jolliffe had a breakthrough season, battling his way into the first team, and went the full season without missing a single game.”
