FRESHWATER Bay Golf Club talent Sammi Keen reclaimed the Isle of Wight Ladies' Golf Championships for a seventh time over a closely fought two days.
Sammi — playing on home turf — had to win it in a 19th hole play-off against Lucy Burke, of Sandown and Shanklin Golf Club.
Nicki Moreton, of Ryde Golf Club, beat Helen Whittaker (Westridge) in Silver Division 2, while Sheila Richards (Freshwater Bay) won the Bronze Division, over Lesley Catchpole (Osborne).
Some 34 women took part in the championships, with prizes awarded for best scratch and handicap scores achieved.
Christine O’Brien won the Sibyl Browne Cup for best Stableford score.
Trophies and other prizes were presented by Isle of Wight Ladies' Golf Association captain, Joan Martin, and its president, Lynne Maidment.
