NEWCLOSE County Cricket Ground will be rolling out the red carpet for Hampshire again after Covid when they entertain the Northamptonshire Steelbacks in Group B of the Royal London Cup one-day competition on Tuesday.
The last time Newclose hosted Hampshire was in the County Championship, when Nottinghamshire came to the Island in 2019.
Newclose was selected again to host top level cricket because the Ageas Bowl is in heavy use with the County Championship and The Hundred competition throughout August.
Hampshire last won the Royal London Cup in 2018 and were runners-up in 2019.
The 50-over match starts at 11am, with gates opening at 9am.
It is an all-ticket game, with tickets (including parking) available on the Hampshire Cricket website via this link: https://www.eticketing.co.uk/ageasbowl/EDP/Event/Index/1553?position=2
