An "evil" Coronation Street character is to make a shocking return to the ITV soap opera after being spotted on set.
Emrhys Cooper was seen on the cobbles despite previously exiting the programme, leaving many fans wondering if he'll make a return.
The actor is known for playing the charismatic cult leader Rowan Cunliffe who left Weatherfield after being reported to the police for blackmail and fraud.
'Evil' cult leader to return to Coronation Street after shock exit
He had been recruiting Coronation Street locals to a mysterious group known as The Institute and separating them from their money.
He started by brainwashing Leane into joining the cult after giving her access to an AI version of her dead son Oliver.
She then went on to help Rowan convince Amy Barlow to invest her £400,000 inheritance into the cult.
However, she started to see reason after Amy was disgustingly branded "w***e" and a "sl*g" after opening up about being raped by Aaron Sandford.
Later, while going through Rowan's laptop to delete any information on her and Amy, she discovered that the cult leader had known about her husband's affair with her sister.

After this was revealed, Nick went on to report the cult leader to police, seeing him flee town.
However, The Sun has reported that Emrhys has been spotted on set, meaning he's likely to make a final return to the show to conclude the cult storyline.
The actor posted a picture of himself in the Corrie dressing room.
In this, he was wearing Rowan's regular costume, a grey suit paired with a nice shirt.
A source added that he had been filming new scenes set to air in the coming weeks.
