Coronation Street star Luana Santos has announced that she is leaving the ITV soap in a dramatic surprise to fans of the show.
Santos told followers she would be leaving Corrie after sharing an emotional post to her Instagram story and telling fans she had already filmed her final scenes.
The 18-year-old actress stared as Max Turner's girlfriend Sabrina Adetiba after he broke up with Lauren Bolton, as the young star first appeared in June 2023.
Posting her final snap from the set of Corrie, the ITV star shared a behind-the-scenes look, posing with her co-star Jack Carroll who plays Bobby Crawford.

Writing on Instagram, Santos said: "Last day with Corrie… thanks for everything @coronationstreet. Drama school here I come."
The ITV star's sudden exit has surprised fans as many wonder how her story will end but some suggest it could be linked to Lauren Bolton's ordeal with Joel Deering.
Santos is not the only Corrie actor to leave the show in recent weeks, as Calum Lill who plays Joel Deering is expected to leave the cobbled streets later this year.
Elsewhere, Gail Platt actress Helen Worth previously announced that after 50 years she would be leaving the ITV soap.
But, it was the sudden axe of Sean Wilson that shocked most fans, as Wilson who played Martin Platt was expected to return as part of Gail's final storyline.
On Sunday, August 18, The Sun reported that Wilson was called for a meeting at the ITV offices and following the meeting never returned to the set of Corrie.
A source told The Sun: “It has come as a complete and utter shock to everyone - and his ¬sudden exit has rocked everyone involved with Corrie.
“Sean was loving his time on the show, and he was very popular on set.

"He had filmed scenes with loads of the cast, but then suddenly he was summoned to head office, and later it filtered out he wouldn’t be returning or his scenes airing, but no explanation offered.
“Clearly it’s a major blow for bosses who must now find a new magical and happy ending for Helen - but they are confident they’ll pull it out of the bag, and give viewers something wonderful.”
