Red Eye is a new thriller that will be starting on ITV very soon and will feature Richard Armitage and Jing Lusi.
After attending a medical conference in Beijing and almost dying in a car crash Dr Matthnew Nolan (Armitage) is immediately arrested after landing back in London.
This is because a dead woman was discovered in his crashed car, and despite his protest of innocence, he is extradited to China in the custody of DC Hana Li (Lusi) to face charges.
However, on board flight 357, she finds herself embroiled in an escalating conspiracy and a growing number of murders.
Speaking to the Radio Times, ITV's head of drama Polly Hill said: "Red Eye is a brilliantly addictive thriller with an international story taking place on the red eye flight from Heathrow to Beijing.
"Thanks to Peter A. Dowling's scripts, the story will have the audience gripped and continually surprised throughout."
