A former Strictly Come Dancing star has 'landed' a new role on an "exciting" BBC dating show.
Joe Sugg will reportedly host an upcoming pilot for the brand new programme called 'World's Most Honest Game Show'.
The show is said to feature an "exciting new dating format all about honesty," which will include "a twist or two".
The show will involve the star bringing together a group of singletons before getting them to share their "good and ugly truths" with potential partners.
Strictly Come Dancing's Joe Sugg 'excited' about new BBC show
The new programme is being made in collaboration with Joe's production company Final Straw Productions.
While only a pilot is in the works, it has been teased that a full series could soon be on its way.
A source told the Sun newspaper: "It's an exciting new dating format all about honesty, which means the singletons will find out both the best bits and the bad bits of the other contestants they fancy."
They added: "The singles won't be able to keep their not-so-good personality traits under wraps for long, with Joe helping both sides of each couple find out the truth. Of course, there's also going to be a twist or two to keep things interesting."
The news comes as Dannii Minogue returns for a follow-up to the hit BBC dating show, I Kissed A Boy - the UK's "first-ever gay dating show".
The new series will be called I Kissed A Girl and follow much of the same format.
In 2022, the broadcaster announced that it would be working with the Strictly Come Dancing star's production company on projects.
Joe said at the time he was "excited" to partner up with the BBC and suggested that he had many ideas that could be developed.
He said: "I am really excited to partner with BBC Studios on this future venture with Final Straw Productions."
He added: "My head has always been so full of ideas, so to be able to have the opportunity to build a great team who can help bring these ideas to life with the backing of BBC Studios and their guidance and expertise is fantastic."
The 32-year-old partnered up with Dianne Buswell during the 2018 series of Strictly - they are now in a relationship.
