POLICE on the Isle of Wight have arrested a man on suspicion of inflicting injuries on someone in Sandown.
Officers were called to an address in Fort Street at 7.38pm on Monday (December 2), following a report a man assaulted another man, causing minor injuries, say the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary.

Subsequently, a 52-year-old man from Sandown was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He has been given police bail until March 3 next year, pending further inquiries.
