The Isle of Wight Council is offering free parking for Small Business Saturday.
On Saturday, December 7, all the council's long-stay car parks will be free from 12 noon to 6pm.
The aim is to support local businesses for the annual event, which encourages people to 'shop local' and support small businesses in their areas.
As well as the long-stay car parks, Yarmouth's Pier Square car park will be free all day.
Cllr Phil Jordan, council leader and cabinet member for transport and infrastructure, said: "We're very pleased to offer this helping hand to both businesses and shoppers in the run up to Christmas so that people can enjoy their visits to our towns with no additional costs of parking.
"In the past it has been very successful, and we encourage residents and visitors to take advantage of the offer once again this year."
Small Business Saturday is a grassroots, non-commercial campaign that highlights the success of small businesses. It allows people across the UK to support small businesses of all kinds, whether online, in offices, or in stores.
Many small businesses get involved by hosting events and offering discounts.
