AN ISLE of Wight drug driver was caught with two illicit substances in his system after overtaking a vehicle at excessive speed.
Conor Jones-Arnold, of Fairlee Road, Newport, appeared before Isle of Wight magistrates on Friday, November 29.
The 24-year-old admitted two counts of drug driving, in Ryde, on February 28.
Prosecutor, Lauren McConnell, said police stopped Jones-Arnold, who was driving a Yamaha motorcycle, on Lushington Hill at around 7.15am.
She said he was seen overtaking another vehicle at excessive speed, and when stopped, he was caught with two separate drugs in his system.
He registered readings for derivatives of both cocaine and cannabis; 67 and 2.1 respectively, both exceeding the specified limits (ten and two).
