Online retail giant Amazon has apologised after customers on the Isle of Wight experienced 'delayed delivery promises'.
In what will be welcome news ahead of Christmas, the County Press has been told the issue has now been 'resolved'.
Islanders buying from Amazon Prime had complained of being quoted lengthy waits when they added items, even ones sold by the company, to their basket.
One person said they never had a problem before and for years, they had received deliveries within days.
"If you enter an Isle of Man postcode delivery is within two days and that's not even in the UK", another said.

Some customers trying to order on October 29 were being told their item would not arrive until November 12.
Tech giant Amazon told the County Press an issue had been identified but this has now been fixed.
A spokesperson said: "We are aware that some customers have experienced delayed delivery promises at checkout and we apologise for the inconvenience.
"This was due to an issue that has now been resolved and delivery promises have returned to normal.”
