A SEVERE warning for ice has been issued for the Isle of Wight.
The Isle of Wight Met Service says the warning is in place from 10pm tonight (Wednesday) until 10am tomorrow (Thursday).

Jamie Russell, of the Isle of Wight Met Service, said: "Temperatures will drop away overnight, with some spots falling to, or even slightly below, freezing.
"And this, combined with run-off water from last night's rain, will lead to the formation of icy stretches.
"There will be ice and invisible black ice, on roads and walkways, in more rural parts, leading to extremely slippery conditions."
Those on the road or out walking are being warned to take care, while people with plants are being advised to cover them.
