Two cars collided head on at the main road through Sandford on the Isle of Wight this morning.
Mercifully there were no injured parties, police at the scene said.
The collision was between a crimson Mercedes and a Ford Focus.
The road at Sandford, between Whiteley Bank and Godshill, is particularly wet this morning, with water running down it.

The cars have been recovered.
The road remains open but motorists are urged to take great care.
