Pearl was the oldest competitor from the UK — if not the entire competition.

She went into the event confident of doing well, having won the European qualifier event in France earlier this year.

"I want to remind all the incredible women out there, especially those who feel it's too late, that age is just a number," said Pearl.

"Your dreams are valid at any stage of life.

"Life's experiences only make you stronger and wiser, and there's no better time than now to chase what truly fulfils you.

"Believe in yourself — you can achieve anything you set your mind to."

Pearl said competing on stage, shoulder to shoulder with other such talented athletes from around the world, was the highlight of her 2024 season.

Her fifth-place finish surpassed all her expectations — especially considering this has been only her second season of competition.

When asked about her plans for next year, Pearl simply smiled and said: "Watch this space — I am definitely not hanging my bikini up just yet."

For now, Pearl is focussed on sharing her knowledge and skills with those who want to improve their health, figure, physique and lifestyle balance.
