A man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving after an incident on the Isle of Wight last night (Monday, November 25).
Police arrested a man on Robin Hood Street in Newport last night after suspecting a driver to be impaired and conducting a roadside drug wipe.
Police said the driver was pulled aside at 10.45pm due to the manner of his driving.
A 24-year-old was arrested by police on suspicion of drug driving, driving without a licence, driving without insurance, and using threatening words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
He has since been released from custody but remains under investigation.
