A yellow weather warning has been issued for rain on the Isle of Wight, starting tonight (Tuesday, November 26) and continuing until Wednesday (November 27) morning.
The Met Office has warned of up to 50mm of rain on the Isle of Wight, likely to lead to disruption including transport delays and poor road conditions.
The weather service said in a statement: "An area of rain is expected to reach parts of southern England overnight Tuesday, becoming persistent and heavy in places for a time.

"Much of the warning area will see 15-20 mm of rain with 30-40 mm in some areas. There is a lower chance of 50 mm of rain in a few places, more likely for the Isle of Wight, Sussex and Kent, before rain eases and clears by early afternoon.
The Met Office has advised Islanders to check properties at risk of flooding and to amend travel plans to account for cancellations and poor road conditions.
The weather warning comes after several days of extreme weather.
