An Isle of Wight holiday park has scooped a top regional tourism award by UK travel company Hoseasons.

Woodside Bay Lodge Retreat, in Wootton, has been crowned Best Large Lodge Escape destination in the South of England.

Drew Campbell, group operations director at Darwin Escapes, the parent company of the retreat, said: “This is a fantastic result for everyone who works so hard to make sure our guests have the best possible experience when they stay with us.

An awards ceremony was held at the Hilton Metropole, in Birmingham.

In their 18th year, the awards celebrate holiday parks, lodge resorts and boating locations in Hoseason's UK portfolio that have achieved the highest scores in independent guest satisfaction surveys throughout the 2024 season.
