Isle of Wight emergency service teams are responding to a crash between Carisbrooke and Calbourne this afternoon (Saturday).
Two fire crews from Newport and East Cowes are among those that have been called to the scene on Calbourne Road.
They were alerted by the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service shortly after 3.30pm.
A spokesperson for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service told the County Press a casualty freed themselves from a vehicle involved in the crash.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary says police were alerted to a collision involving two cars.
Minor injuries have been reported.
The County Press understands the road has been closed in both directions and the incident is ongoing.
Earlier this afternoon, the County Press was told a tree had come down near Swainston Manor, on Calbourne Road.
Motorists should avoid the area if possible.
UPDATE:
The road has since reopened.
