A CRASH on a main Isle of Wight route sparked a callout for police last night (Friday).
At around 9.30pm, officers were called to the scene on Morton Common.
They were responding to a report of a collision involving a single vehicle.
One person suffered minor injuries, a spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary confirmed.
Southern Vectis Route 3 buses had to divert for a time.
Earlier in the evening, officers were also alerted to a single vehicle crash between Newport and Cowes.

At around 7pm, officers responded to a single vehicle collision on Whitehouse Road.
The incident, which involved a white Renault Trafic van, saw the road blocked for a time.
The County Press was told the van, which sustained significant front-end damage, came to rest in a ditch to the side of the road.
