ISLE of Wight Police are dealing with a serious incident at an industrial estate in Cowes this afternoon (Thursday).
Officers have been called to Somerton Industrial Estate, following a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian just before 2pm.
Earlier this afternoon, County Press readers reported seeing an air ambulance land near Booker Wholesale, off Three Gates Road.
The NHS Trust has confirmed a casualty has been airlifted to Southampton General Hospital.
A lorry and an area at Acclaim Logistics has been cordoned off by officers.
Acclaim Logistics has been approached for a statement.
Police remain at the scene.
