Isle of Wight residents are being offered free care skills training by the Isle of Wight College.
The training, organised in partnership with Solent Partners, is open to both those employed and unemployed, looking to start or advance in care-based careers.
Nurse Camelia Moise Gogoasa, a course tutor, said: "Not only is this a course for unemployed people and for those already employed people looking to step into a new care-based career, it is also for those working in care who want to get certified, and for those who have been out of the care sector for a while and want a refresher course.
"This course equips participants with real-world skills that open doors to exciting careers. Working in care is not just a job, it’s a calling."
The Health and Social Care Skills Bootcamp offers practical experience, job application support, and interview practice.
