The discovery of a woman with a serious head injury is the reason why police have cordoned off a property in Branstone on the Isle of Wight.
Police were called to Branstone Farm Lane at around midday on Monday, November 18.
They were alerted following the discovery of a woman with a serious head injury.
The woman, aged in her 30s, was taken to hospital for treatment.

A semi-detached property and its garden, at the far end of the lane, is the focus of police attention, and officers remain at the scene this afternoon (Wednesday).
