Ferry firm Red Funnel is calling on Isle of Wight businesses and residents to nominate their "Tourism Hero" for 2024.
The new accolade, part of the annual Red Funnel Isle of Wight Awards, aims to celebrate individuals in the Island’s tourism industry who consistently go above and beyond.
This can include innovative business owners, dedicated employees or volunteers who contribute to creating memorable experiences.
People have until Saturday, November 30, to submit their nominations, with the winner set to be announced by the end of the year.
Red Funnel CEO Fran Collins said: "We are thrilled to introduce our brand-new Tourism Hero award as part of the annual Red Funnel Isle of Wight Awards.
"This is more than just a recognition; it’s a celebration of the extraordinary people who make the Isle of Wight an unforgettable and wonderfully different destination.
"We can’t wait to read the submissions and have no doubt that with so many incredible individuals on the island, this isn’t going to be an easy choice."
To nominate a 'Tourism Hero', residents and businesses can submit their candidate's name, tourism association, and reasons for their deserving of the award on the Red Funnel website.
