An Isle of Wight restaurant is celebrating its eighth birthday.
Hewitt's restaurant and hotel, on Lugley Street in Newport, turns eight this week.
Best friends Josh and Dean left their jobs in 2016 to start their own restaurant with one goal: consistency.

Hewitt's has worked closely with Island businesses including Medina Foods, Island Ales and the Isle of Wight Cocktail Company.
The restaurant has also raised thousands of pounds for charity, hosting a special evening for the 'Zoe's Law' campaign and donating raffle prizes.
Josh and Dean said: "We look forward to many more years of serving the Isle of Wight and for food, drinks, weddings and other special occasions.
"The journey of Hewitt’s Restaurant would not have been possible without all your unwavering support.
"Cheers to eight years!"
