The Isle of Wight's floating bridge is to be pulled from service again next week.
The troubled vessel, which operates between Cowes and East Cowes, is to undergo maintenance work on Wednesday (November 20).
The Isle of Wight Council said the repairs are 'necessary'.
The chain ferry will be out of action between 9am and 6pm.

A foot passenger launch service, the Jenny Lee, will run in its place.
It was only last week that the vessel had to be pulled from service because a cable needed replacing, due to 'wear and tear'.
On that occasion, full service was restored by 9.30am.
