AN ISLE of Wight man will stand trial next year, accused of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
On Thursday, October 10, police were called to a ‘serious incident’ at a house on Jellicoe Road in Binstead.
As part of their investigation, Ryan Hopewell, of Jellicoe Road, was charged with causing GBH with intent.
Appearing before a judge at the Isle of Wight Crown Court on Thursday, November 14, the 24-year-old denied the charge.
Mr Hopewell saw his case adjourned for a trial on April 2.
He was remanded in custody until that date.
