The Isle of Wight has been recognised as having the most annual hours of sunshine out of all the counties in England.
In The Telegraph's recent ranking of all 48 counties from best to worst, the Isle of Wight was singled out for its 1,875 hours of sunshine per year.
Its nearest runner-up was Kent, with 1,744 hours.
The highest-ranked county was Devon, with Bedfordshire being the lowest-ranked.
Hampshire also made the top ten.
The Isle of Wight placed 34th overall.
The Telegraph judged England's counties through 41 different criteria, divided into the four categories of Natural Wonders, History and Culture, Luxuries and Peace and Quiet.
