The highlight of this segment is the tranquil creek, where a grassy path and boardwalks offer picturesque views of the water’s edge.

At the creek, the route joins the coastal path, where the trail leads down to the Hamstead foreshore, with grassy paths, boardwalks and a sandy beach.

Leaving the coastal path, the walk follows footpath S4, taking you back through woodland.

When you reach the black wooden house, continue straight ahead on an unmarked path with a hedge on the right.

The path winds through forested areas, passing Ningwood Common.

As you near the end of your journey, the route leads past countryside houses, stiles, a stream and a footbridge before eventually looping back to the starting point via footpath S9.

The walk is relatively level, making it accessible for most walkers, however, paths can become muddy and wet, so sturdy footwear is recommended.
