More than 20 people took part in a winter duathlon series in Cowes.
On Sunday, 22 members of Wight Tri participated in the second event of the winter series, starting from Cowes Green.
In a run-bike-run format, competitors had a choice of a 2.6km or 5.2km run along the seafront to Gurnard and back, followed by a 20km or 27km bike section out to Porchfield and Shalfleet, returning via Whitehouse Road.
The winter series races are run as 'nominated time' events.
Craig Wilson finished the long course just one minute and 12 seconds out from his nominated time of 1 hour, 31 minutes, and 48 seconds.
He was followed by Glyn Jenkins, who was one minute and 32 seconds out, and Steve Snary, who was one minute and 49 seconds out.
Chris Till was the fastest male over the long course, completing it in 1 hour, 24 minutes, and 38 seconds, while Jan Fletcher was the fastest female, finishing in 1 hour, 44 minutes, and 30 seconds.
Wight Tri extended thanks to Steve and Anne Dines and Loic Le Floch for organising and running the event.
The next event in the series is on Sunday, December 1, starting from Jubilee car park, Brighstone.
