AN ISLE of Wight man who burgled a hotel while already serving a suspended sentence will learn his fate early next year.
Daniel Jeavons, of Cross Street, Ryde, appeared before Isle of Wight magistrates on Tuesday, November 12.
At a previous hearing last weekend, at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court, the 32-year-old admitted burglary in Sandown, between November 4 and November 5.
The court heard Jeavons gained entry to the Channel View Hotel, on Royal Street, and stole food and drink to a value unknown.
Jeavons, who was found in breach of a nine-week suspended sentence, saw his case adjourned to January 3.
He was granted conditional bail until that date, and magistrates ordered a pre-sentence report be drawn up ahead of the hearing.
