A 20-year-old Isle of Wight man caught with more than 1,000 child sex abuse images will go before a judge next year.
Samuel Huckle, of St Faiths Road, Cowes, appeared before Isle of Wight magistrates on Tuesday, November 12.
The 20-year-old admitted multiple charges of possession and distribution of indecent images of children, between May 5, 2021, and August 31, 2023.
Prosecutor, Lauren McConnell, said Huckle was found in possession of 532 Category A images – the worst kind – 337 Category B images and 377 Category C images.
Huckle saw his case adjourned to February 7, 2025, at the Isle of Wight Crown Court.
He was granted unconditional bail and magistrates ordered that a pre-sentence report be drawn up.
