A driver is being sought by police following a collision involving a pedestrian on a country road on the Isle of Wight this morning (Tuesday).
The vehicle involved, described by police as a 'large people carrier/mini-van/possible taxi', did not stop at the scene.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary is urging the driver to come forward.
Police were called to Cockleton Lane, Gurnard at 7.57am.

Officers received reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital.
Police said he sustained 'minor injuries'.
Officers said the driver of the vehicle did not pull over.
