A MAN accused of telling a police officer he would "bite his legs off" and sinking his teeth into his ankle, will face trial on the Isle of Wight.
Martin D'Arcy, of Folly Lane, Whippingham, allegedly brandished a walking stick at Newport's Probation Office, before biting the police officer at Newport Police Station, on September 10.
He appeared at the Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, November 5.

The 55-year-old pleaded not guilty to possessing an offensive weapon and assaulting an emergency worker.
He has elected to stand trial at the Isle of Wight Crown Court.
The case was adjourned, and he was bailed to appear for a hearing on December 9.
