A national agency fund has given more than £6,500 to Mountbatten.
NFU Mutual's "Agency Giving Fund" gave the money to the Isle of Wight hospice, after being nominated by the insurance company's Island agents.
The fund helps local charities across the country.
This year, NFU Mutual, which specialises in rural insurance, pledged to donate £3.25 million to charities across the UK.
The fund was started to help charities deal with the effects of the pandemic and the rising cost of living.
Nigel Hartley, Mountbatten CEO, said: "Staff were at the frontline of the Covid-19 pandemic and just a few short years later, our charity is facing a very worrying financial challenge.
"That vital NHS funding is also under threat, as we move forward, and we are increasingly reliant on charitable donations to maintain our 24/7 services in Islanders’ homes and in our hospice in Newport."
The donation will help Mountbatten provide end-of-life care to about 2,000 patients every day in their homes and in the hospice by buying new equipment, including a lymph scanner, gel cushions, and mattress/floor sensor pads."
