WHEN you are out and about around the Isle of Wight this coming week, be sure to know which roadworks to avoid.

Here is a list of some of the many roadworks and associated closures:

PORCHFIELD: Corf Road will close during tree works, between its junction with Town Lane and Main Road, over one shift, sometime on Monday.

NEWPORT: Rowbridge Lane will shut during carriageway repair works, along its entire length, over one shift, sometime between Monday and Tuesday.

Also, Burnt House Lane will shut during tree programme works, between its junction with St Georges Way and Pan Lane, over three shifts, sometime between Wednesday and Friday, November 15.

Marvel Lane will shut during carriageway and iron works, between its junction with Sandy Lane and Copse Lane, over one shift, sometime between Wednesday and Friday, November 15.

Foxes Road will shut during a mobile crane lifting operation for Sainsbury's, between its junction with Sylvan Drive and Mill Street, between 3pm and 11.59pm on Sunday, November 10. 

Godric Road will shut during development works, between its junction with Lavender Way and Foundry Road, between 8am on Monday and 5pm on Friday, November 29.

Whitcombe Road will shut during utility works, between its junction with Carisbrooke Cemetery access road and Nunnery Lane, between 9am and 5pm on Tuesday.

FRESHWATER: Moa Place will close during electrical works, between its junction with Brookside Road and School Green Road, over three shifts, sometime between Monday and Friday, November 15.

Also, Freshwater Bridleway 61 will close during cycle track repair works, between its junction with The Causeway and Afton Road, over one shift, sometime between Monday and Wednesday. 

School Path will close during barrier repair works, between its junction with Bannermas Path and Longhalves Lane, over one shift, sometime between Wednesday and Friday, November 15. 

GURNARD: Shore Road will shut during tree programme works, between its junction with Winding Way and Woodvale Road, over one shift, sometime on Tuesday.

COWES: Magdalen Crescent will close during carriageway repair works, along its entire length, over one shift, sometime between Tuesday and Thursday.

Also, Moorgreen Road will close during carriageway repair works, between its junction with princes Street and Bellevue Road, over one shift, sometime between Wednesday and Friday, November 15.

Sun Hill will close during scaffolding works, between its junctions with Union Road and High Street, between 8am on Monday and 6pm on Wednesday, November 20.

RYDE: Mitchells Road will shut during carriageway repair works, along its entire length, over one shift, sometime between Tuesday and Thursday.

Also, Riboleau Street will shut during utility works, between its junction with Park Road and a point 75m south thereof, between 9am on Tuesday and 6pm on Friday, November 15. 

SANDOWN: High Street will close during utility works, between its junctions with Albert Road and Wilkes Road, between 7pm on Thursday and 6.30am on Friday, November 15.

HAVENSTREET: Havenstreet Main Road will shut during utility works, between its junction with Firestone Copse Road and Havencroft Lane, between 8am on Tuesday and 4pm on Friday, November 15.

VENTNOR: High Street will close during utility works, between its junction with Church Street and Spring Hill, between 7pm on Tuesday and 6.30am on Wednesday.

Also, linked with that, Church Street will close during utility works, along its entire length, between 7pm on Tuesday and 6.30am on Wednesday.
