TWO people were rescued after falling down a cliff near Blackgang on the Isle of Wight.
The incident prompted a response from Solent Coastguard at around 9pm on Tuesday (November 5).
Ventnor and Needles Coastguard Rescue Teams, along with the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service, were called to assist with the rescue.
Both people were successfully rescued and subsequently handed over to the Ambulance Service for further care, said a spokesperson for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA).
The MCA was unable to say how the pair were rescued, how far down they had fallen or if they were injured.
