In the run-up to Christmas, a web and design studio on the Isle of Wight is bringing back its annual festive charity event.
Brightbulb's Mince Pie Marathon will raise funds for The Wight Brainy Bunch.
The event, which has raised nearly £25,000 in previous years, sees the Brightbulb team and sponsors deliver thousands of pre-ordered mince pies in a single day.
This year, Yokogawa Marex, a global software solutions company based in Cowes, is the headline sponsor, with Raven Print and Wight Productions also supporting the event.
Brightbulb managing director, Matt Jeffery, said: "Halloween is over, so it’s time to put on our Christmas hats and celebrate the magic of the mince pie once more. This event means so much to us and to the charity.
"We’re especially proud this year, having received a prestigious national culture award for our efforts with the event. With that motivation, we’re aiming to make this year’s event bigger and better than ever."
Over the years, the funds raised have helped local families affected by brain tumours, covering costs for cognitive rehabilitation therapy, counselling, transportation for radiotherapy, and small grants to help with lost wages.
You can donate or place an order for the event, which will take place on December 11, at www.mincepiemarathon.co.uk. Orders close on December 4.
All participants will be acknowledged on the Mince Pie Marathon leaderboard. On the day, you can track the team's journey via the marathon delivery map.
